24 Seater Mini Coach Hire with a Driver
Our 24 seater is a mini coach rather than a minibus. It has high back coach seats, large panoramic windows and a microphone for the driver or your host, so it feels like a small touring coach while still fitting the places a full-size coach struggles with. It is the vehicle we suggest for groups of 21 to 24, and for smaller groups on longer trips where comfort matters.
Where the mini coach earns its keep
- Day tours: a winery day in the Hunter Valley, a run up to the Blue Mountains or a day in Canberra. Coach seats make the longer stretches more comfortable.
- Corporate days: team outings, site visits and client hosting, with the microphone for a welcome or a briefing on the way.
- Weddings: a single vehicle for a mid-size guest list between the hotel, the ceremony and the reception.
- School and club trips: a class, a squad with its coaches, or a club outing to a carnival or show.
- Around town touring: visitors seeing the harbour, the beaches and the lookouts in one comfortable vehicle.
Mini coach or two minibuses?
A group of 22 could fit into two 12 seaters, but one mini coach keeps everyone together, needs only one driver and one set of pickup instructions, and is easier for venues to receive. If your group is closer to 30, our 28 seat midi coaches and larger coaches are the next step up.
Included with every booking
A professional driver who holds a Working With Children Check, fuel, and the vehicle for the hours you book. Seatbelt-equipped vehicles can be confirmed when you book. The coach is private to your group, with no other passengers and no extra stops.

Can a 25th person stand?
No. All passengers must be seated, so tell us your final numbers and we will match the vehicle.

Why groups choose a mini coach for longer trips
On a short city run, most passengers do not mind what they sit in. On a two or three hour drive to the Hunter Valley, the Blue Mountains or Canberra, comfort starts to matter. High back coach seats support the head and shoulders, the large windows make the scenery part of the trip, and the microphone means a host can welcome the group, run through the plan for the day or point out sights along the way without shouting.
At the same time, a 24 seat mini coach is still small enough for many places a full-size coach cannot go: winery driveways, village main streets, hotel forecourts and suburban pickups. That combination of comfort and size is why it is one of our most popular vehicles for day tours.
Example trips in a 24 seater
- A club day in the Hunter Valley: two cellar doors before lunch, a long lunch, one more stop and home in the early evening. See Hunter Valley tours.
- A seniors outing to the Blue Mountains: morning tea, the main lookouts, lunch in a village and a garden in the afternoon. See seniors groups.
- A corporate site visit: a group of clients collected from their hotel, taken to two sites with a briefing on board, then on to dinner.
- A wedding guest shuttle: one vehicle for a mid-size guest list between the hotel, the ceremony and the reception. See weddings.
Tips for booking a mini coach
- For long days, allow for driver breaks and comfort stops in your plan.
- If your host would like to speak to the group, ask the driver to set up the microphone at the start of the trip.
- Large luggage may need a trailer, so tell us how many bags you have.
- Share the final passenger list with the driver on the day.
Planning a full day in a mini coach
For a full day out of Sydney, send us the stops in the order you would like them, the lunch time and the time you want to be home. We will check the drive times between each stop and suggest changes if the day looks too tight.
